REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR — Rektor IPB University Prof Arif Satria meluncurkan program Sociopreneur of IPB University 2022, Sabtu  (14/5). Program ini bertujuan untuk mendukung dan meningkatkan minat mahasiswa IPB University terhadap kegiatan wirausaha. Program ini berupa pelatihan, pendanaan pengembangan usaha, coaching dan mentoring, serta hasilnya dapat dikonversi menjadi satuan kredit semester (SKS). "Program tersebut didesain untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kewirausahaan mahasiswa dalam mengidentifikasi, merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi kegiatan bisnis, baik yang dilakukan secara mandiri atau  mengikuti program kewirausahaan yang ditawarkan berbagai institusi," kata Handian Purwawangsa, Shut  MSi, asisten Direktur Pengembangan Karier dan Kewirausahaan, Direktorat Kemahasiswaan dan Pengembangan Karier (Ditmawa PK) IPB University seperti dikutip dalam rilis yang diterima Republika.co.id, Rabu (18/5). Selain itu, lanjutnya, mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan untuk  mendesain produk atau jasa yang inovatif dan mampu membangun jejaring dan kerja sama bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Dalam sambutannya, Prof Arif Satria mengatakan bahwa sociopreneurship merupakan sebuah tren yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat untuk mengatasi berbagai persoalan di perdesaan. Salah satu program sociopreneurship yang dikembangkan oleh IPB University adalah One Village One CEO (OVOC). "Ini merupakan program untuk mendorong mahasiswa IPB University. Para mahasiswa diminta untuk ke desa, konsolidasi dengan para BUMDes (Badan Usaha Milik Desa). Para mahasiswa ini juga melakukan pendampingan teknologi, karena teknologi membuka akses pasar. Kemudian  bisa memasukkan produk-produk masyarakat ke pasar modern," jelasnya. Menurut Prof Arif Satria, hadirnya program sociopreneurship yang memberikan dampak terhadap masyarakat dapat membangun optimisme masyarakat desa. Menurutnya, perguruan tinggi melalui mahasiswa menjadi sumber inspirasi dan masyarakat menjadi semakin percaya diri untuk bergerak ke depan. Dalam praktiknya, kata Prof Arif Satria, sociopreneurship membutuhkan dua hal. Yakni jiwa sosial dan kewirausahaan. "Jadi, semangat pengabdian yang ada ini harus didorong, semangat kewirausahaan juga harus didorong," ujar Rektor IPB University ini. Ia yakin bahwa adanya program sociopreneurship akan menghadirkan mahasiswa-mahasiswa IPB University di berbagai daerah di seluruh Indonesia. The tech giant said the updates combine the company latest technologies to deliver customizable tools for users and build on Apple's long-standing commitment to ensuring the products work for everyone. The company says it has advanced its hardware, software and machine learning to match the demands as well as support people with different disabilities. For example, blind people or those with limited vision can use their iPhone and iPad to navigate the last meter to their destination with Door Detection. Users with physical and motor disabilities, who rely on Voice Control and Switch Control will now be able to fully control their Apple Watch from their iPhone using Apple Watch Mirroring. Meanwhile, the deaf and hard of hearing community can follow Live Captions on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Apple also developed its screen reader VoiceOver with more than 20 new languages ​​and locales. "Apple embeds accessibility into every aspect of our work, and we are committed to designing the best products and services for everyone," said Sarah Herrlinger, Apple's senior director of accessibility policy and initiatives.
